About Audax
Audax — Latin for “bold.”
Bold isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s the quiet knowing that you need more: clarity, energy, balance, and a life that actually fits you.
At Audax Mental Health, I help adults who are overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in self-sabotaging patterns move forward when life feels too full or when reaching your goals feels impossible. You’re not in crisis — you’re at a turning point. And that matters.
Using a science-backed, holistic approach, I create tailored plans based on your unique strengths. Together, we’ll reconnect you with your values, reset habits, and build resilience — using practical tools that work in real life.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, ADHD, anxiety, performance pressure, fears, or long-standing patterns that keep repeating, I meet you where you are and guide you toward clarity, confidence, and real, actionable change.
You don’t have to wait for rock bottom. Be bold enough to begin. This is your Audax moment.

About Me
Hi, I’m Elmeret, a counselling psychologist from sunny South Africa, passionate about helping people grow, heal, and boldly embrace their next chapter.
Before founding Audax, I worked in academic, clinical, and community settings — supporting students, leading teams, providing psychotherapy, and most recently guiding adults with mental disabilities.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Rhodes University, South Africa), and I am trained in Brain Working Recursive Technique® (BWRT® Level 1). I’ve also completed training in Neuroscience and ADHD Coaching. This blend of brain science and human connection allows me to create practical, personalized strategies to help clients move through life’s pressure points with clarity and confidence.
At Audax Mental Health, I believe growth is most powerful when it aligns with your values, strengths, and life context. Together, we focus on practical steps, sustainable habits, and mindset shifts that help you reconnect with your energy, purpose, and sense of self.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, overwhelm, anxiety, performance pressure, fears or phobias, self-confidence challenges, or the long-lasting effects of trauma (including prolonged duress stress), I meet you where you are and guide you toward greater resilience, clarity, and courage.
Ready to make bold moves? This is your Audax moment.

BrainWorking Recursive Technique® (BWRT®)
BWRT® is a truly revolutionary approach to shifting the patterns that keep us stuck. It works directly with negative and self-sabotaging thought loops in a way that feels fresh, fast, and surprisingly simple — without the need for deep analysis or reliving painful memories.
Unlike traditional methods, BWRT® offers a clear and accessible understanding of how the subconscious mind can keep us repeating the same behaviours — even when we know they’re not serving us. The best part? It allows for real, immediate change, often within just a few sessions.
Why people love BWRT®
One of the most powerful advantages is that you don’t have to share your deepest secrets for it to work. You can stay private, safe, and in control — while still experiencing lasting results. It also works beautifully for people who feel resistant to conventional approaches, because it bypasses the usual mental roadblocks and goes straight to the root of the issue.
BWRT® is effective for a wide range of challenges, including:
- Commitment anxiety
- All phobias and fears
- Success inhibition
- Fear of failure
- All types of performance anxiety
- Self-worth and self-confidence issues
- Fear of authority
- Relationship issues
- PDSD (Prolonged Duress Stress Disorder)
Built on modern neuroscience
BWRT® is grounded in the latest discoveries in neuroscience and brain plasticity. It explains, in a clear and practical way, why we can feel powerless to stop repeating destructive patterns — and then it gives the brain a new path forward. It supports fast, effortless rewiring of old beliefs and behaviours, making lasting change feel possible.
A fresh approach — not a copy
BWRT® is not a rehash or derivative of CBT, NLP, EMDR, ACT, EFT, hypnosis, or any other modality. It stands alone as its own innovative system.
Note
BWRT® is offered as part of professional counselling and does not constitute psychotherapy.
ADHD & Neuroscience Coaching
ADHD is not a flaw — it’s a different way of processing the world. For many people, it comes with unique strengths: creativity, intense focus when engaged, big-picture thinking, and an ability to notice patterns others miss. But it can also bring challenges like overwhelm, procrastination, impulsivity, emotional intensity, and difficulties with organisation and follow-through.
Neuroscience coaching offers a modern, strengths-based approach to ADHD. It combines evidence-based brain science with practical coaching strategies to help you understand your brain’s wiring — and build routines and habits that actually fit how you operate.
Why this approach works
Traditional strategies often focus on “trying harder,” which can feel exhausting and frustrating when your brain is built differently. Neuroscience coaching takes a different route: it helps you understand why certain patterns occur, then supports you to build new systems that align with your natural rhythms.
This is not about forcing yourself into a mould. It’s about learning how your brain works and designing a life that makes space for your strengths — while also giving you tools to manage the challenges.
What you can expect
In coaching, we work collaboratively to identify the areas where you feel stuck and then build a practical plan that is realistic and sustainable. We focus on small, actionable steps that create real momentum — without relying on willpower alone.
ADHD and neuroscience coaching can support you with:
- Understanding your ADHD brain and how it impacts daily life
- Creating structure without feeling rigid
- Managing overwhelm and sensory overload
- Improving focus and attention in a way that fits you
- Strengthening organisation and time management
- Building motivation and follow-through
- Navigating emotional regulation and impulsivity
- Improving relationships and communication
- Turning “hyperfocus” into a powerful tool instead of a trap
- Developing routines that stick
Grounded in science, designed for real life
Neuroscience coaching draws on the latest research about attention, executive function, neuroplasticity, and brain regulation. But it translates these concepts into simple, practical tools you can use every day.
A strengths-based approach
This coaching is not about “fixing” you. It’s about supporting you to harness your strengths, understand your patterns, and build a life that suits your brain — not the other way around.
Note
ADHD and neuroscience coaching is offered as part of professional counselling and does not constitute psychotherapy.
